Buttock Augmentation Buttock Enhancement and Buttock Implants

Buttock Augmentation is for the individual who is unable to develop proportionate gluteal muscles, lacks buttock fat, or simply desires more augmentation in the buttock area. The tendency to accumulate fatty deposits on the buttocks may be inherited, and these deposits are often resistant to diet and exercise. Many patients become discouraged at having lost unwanted pounds without seeing a significant change in the buttock area. The overall proportions of the body may be unbalanced.

Buttocks augmentation is performed with buttock implants or is performed with your own fat. Buttock augmentation can give a more balanced look or simply give the patient more curves where they have none.

With Buttock Implants:
Placed into each buttock area through a single incision overlying the tailbone, buttock implants are positioned to look as natural as possible for the optimal cosmetic effect.

The buttock implants are either made from solid silicone or a more softer form of cohesive silicone encased in a silicone bag. With cohesive silicone, there is a more natural feel. This implant is more resistant to wear and tear than a gel or saline filled mammary type of implant.
